We had an unforgettable stay close to nature in this hotel situated in the rainforest by a cave. The location was superb, offering us panoramic views of the forest around it. The hotel facilities were impressive, and the grotto restaurant under a boulder was spectacular. We loved the great food and lovely setting. The staff, especially the manager, were hardworking and made our experience enjoyable. Lastly, the room was unique and comfortable, offering us a spacious room cleverly built amongst the rocks and vegetation.
There was nothing we didn't like.

Even the Koggala airport was not so far. We would like to go back there again if visiting Kalawana. We had fun in the pool of the hotel.

Spent an amazing weekend in an eco-friendly hotel surrounded by nature. The hotel is hidden in a unique location with a beautiful natural pool. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating providing us with a personalized service. The chef prepared a delicious vegan meal using fresh ingredients from the hotel’s own garden. We enjoyed a tour of the local tea factory and had a relaxing time at the spa.
The hotel seemed to have a limited staff, which sometimes led to delays in service. Due to the location, there was no Wi-Fi, but the hotel provided a great opportunity to disconnect from the busyness of our daily lives.

The location of the hotel by a cave provides a unique and extraordinary experience. At night, you can enjoy the peace and tranquility outside of our 'cave' and listen to the sounds of the forest. The hotel staff provides excellent service, as mentioned by a reviewer who appreciated the personalized messages and special requests handled by the manager. The natural pool is a fantastic facility that guests can enjoy, and the restaurant, located under a huge natural boulder, is a sight you won't forget.
The rooms may require updating, as mentioned by a reviewer, but the overall experience is so unique that it is forgivable.

The Christmas decorations were really festive and got me into the holiday spirit. The complimentary hot chocolate and cookies were a nice touch. The location was beautiful and offered great views of the surrounding area. The staff was also friendly and accommodating.
The hotel was lacking in several areas. The rooms were not very well-maintained, with doors and windows that didn't offer much light or ventilation.

Located in a beautiful forest, surrounded by amazing rocks. the dinner was nice and the candles gave a lovely atmosphere to the place.
The atmosphere of the hotel wasn't really romantic, it was more eerie than anything. the room itself was horrible and looked like it hadn't been updated since the 80s.
